| Category | A “section” to organize products (e.g., shoes). |
| Option | Choices for a product (e.g., size, color). |
| SKU | Product reference (useful for search / barcode). |
| Inventory | Available quantity of a product. |
| POS | In-store sales screen: cart + payment. |
| Role | Access profile (e.g., cashier, manager). Defines your permissions. |
| Permission | A specific authorization (e.g., “edit inventory”, “cancel an order”). |
